Cold winter days

בימים האחרונים ניתן למצוא אותי במצב אחד, מצונפת בתוך שמיכת פוך, רכונה מעל כוס תה (על איך שהתגברתי מפחדי מכוסות תה, בפוסט נפרד) וגרובה בחותלות מחממות."18 מעלות בחוץ", אתם בטח חושבים לעצמכם, "יש מדינות שבהן 18 מעלות נחשבות לקיץ". ובכן, הטענות האלה לא עובדות עלי, אם הייתי רוצה לסבול בכפור הייתי מזמן עוברת לשבדיה, מה יש לי פה חוץ מהבטחה לטמפרטורות גבוהות גם בחורף? כל שאני רוצה הוא להישאר במצעי הפלאנל שלי, לכודה בין שתי השמיכות לבין בקבוק חם. ביום שישי האחרון הטעתה אותי גיחתה הקצרה של השמש הבוגדנית ונסעתי לטיול קצר, הצלחתי להגיע עד פארק שרונה (שסגור כולו אגב, בגלל גינדי ובניינם), ולכדתי כמה תמונות נדירות מול השמש. מיד לאחר מכן התקדרו השמים והכריחו אותי להיכנס למקום בו חם. חם, הכל יחסי. חם אולי ביחס לאתר סקי באלפים, לא חם יחסית ל- 40 מעלות באוגוסט, על חוף הים. רק לשם הרקורד, אני מאוד אוהבת חורף, אפור, גשם וסוודרים, רק לא אוהבת קור.

In the last couple of days you can find me in one situation: wrapped under a warm duvet, hovering over a cup of tea (all about how I overcome my fear of tea in another post) and wearing warm leggings. "Its 18 degrees outside", you must be thinking, "there are countries where 18 degrees are considered summer". Well, these arguments are not working for me, if I didn't mind the cold so much I would have move to Sweden, what else is this country promising me except for warm temperatures in the winter? All I want to do is cover up with flannel bedding, with two blankets and a warm bottle. Last Friday I was misled by the treacherous sun and o drove to a short trip. I managed to drive up to Sarona park (all closed for Gindi's project, by the way) and caught a few rare pictures in the sun. A short time after, the sky darkened and forced me to go somewhere warm. Warm. It's all relatives, maybe warmer than a ski resort in the Alps, not warmer than 40 degrees in August, on the beach. Just for the record, I love the winter, the grays, rain and sweaters, just hate the cold.
